This is a NEW constant level refilling reservoir. It is specifically designed to keep particulate matter in a uniform suspension for aspiration by the pipettor. Typical applications are cell cultures, magnetic particles, and SPA beads. A peristaltic pump is included with two (2) pump heads. One head feeds the reservoir from a source, while the other returns the overflow from the reservoir weir. It is designed so the entire 3" x 5" reservoir is kept in constant motion, providing a uniform suspension to all tips. The reservoir is made of Teflon to permit autoclaving. It is also inert to DMSO and practically all other chemicals commonly used in HTS.
