Pipetting Flexibility

Tomtec's 96 well, 450µL Pipetting Head has a precision of 2% at a volume of 10µL. The 20µL Pipetting Head can deliver volumes below 1µL at a precision of < 5%. Tomtec provides a positive displacement design in both 96 and 384 well formats. These Pipetting Heads incorporate stainless needles that are Teflon coated inside and outside. Circulated ultrasonic tip washing is used to clean the needles. These Pipetting Heads provide precision of 2-3% at 0.5µL.

Enhanced with Accessories

Circulated ultrasonic tip washing is standard on the Quadra 3® LTD. It is a cost effective method to lower any carryover below the readout background level.
A complete line of accessories are available to complete the system design. A vacuum box completes the filtration protocols. A Live Bottom Reservoir System keeps particulate matter in suspension for pipetting. A Magnetic Nest traps and holds beads for washing. A Shaker Nest provides agitation. A Temperature Controlled Nest provides in process heating or cooling.
