| The top plate of this nest is designed to oscillate within a small range. This motion translates to effective shaking for contents of a reservoir or a microplate placed on the nest. The shaking nest operates from the 24-volt supply, of the Quadra. The operator can turn it on and off via program control. The shaking motion is adjusted by a small potentiometer on the shaker nest itself. The shaking motion is load dependent (i.e. for different loads, different settings may be required.) The shaking motion automatically stops when the stage lifts the nest to access the stacker cassettes or the pipettor. The nest is sized to accommodate a reservoir or 96 or 384 well plate. | ||||
