Tomtec provides a simple solution to keep labile reagents cool. The Thermal Retention Reservoir is a 3 pound aluminum block, that when placed in a freezer to stabilize at -20°C, can keep the contents of a disposable reservoir below 5°C for approximately 45 minutes. Temperature variation can occur, depending upon ambient conditions.
Care must be excercised that the contents of the disposable reservoir do not freeze. Test samples using water will establish optimum conditions for the application. The Thermal Retention Reservoir is a good low cost reagent cooling solution. |
